Meringue Cookies
These little meringue cookies are possibly one of my most favourite treats ever and are super simple to make! They’re basically just egg whites and sugar which make them a delicous and easy thing make! ..and it can be a healthyish snack (:
Ingredients
2 Egg Whites
1/2 Cup Sugar (caster sugar/ superfine sugar or icing sugar)
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Dash of Salt
Steps:
1. Crack and separate the eggs placing the egg whites in a bowl and let stand until room temperature. (use a glass bowl and not a plastic one so that the sugar won’t stick to the edges and the mixture will be light)
2. Preheat the oven to 225°F
3. Using a stand or hand mixer, beat the egg whites on medium speed until they start to become foamy
4. Add in the salt and vanilla extract and beat until soft peaks form
5.Continue to beat higher for another 2 minutes and gradually add sugar until stiff peaks form
6. Spoon the mixture into a plastic bag and cut one corner (or piping bag) and squeeze of most the air out. Pipe the mixture onto a cookie sheet how you like! (it should stay in the same shape that you pipe it onto the sheet if it is done correctly so make sure you mixture has reached the stiff peaks!)
Cook the mixture for about 1-1/2 hours or until light and crispy throughout and then let cool
Enjoy your delicious sugary treats!
This is the mixer I use in crystal blue just incase you might need one and it works fine for me

My Everyday Skincare Routine
For my everyday skincare routine, I’ve always liked to keep it quite simple as too many products can harm or irritate your skin. I have combination skin that can be sensitive. I’ve never really had much of a problem with acne or breakouts…except around ‘that time of the month’, but that’s just normal and nothing you can do there. But recently out of nowhere for the past couple of months, I started to breakout like crazy and these spots were leaving me with scars so I had to add a couple of things to my skincare routine.
Olay products are my favorite for skincare and I’ve always used and trusted them. Once you find a product that you love and works good for you, stick to it and just keep using it to let you skin adjust to the product. Don’t change it up because your skin won’t be used to the product and be like “what is this!” and break out, because I’ve had that problem. So develop a skin care routine and stick to it because following a good routine is the best!
Step 1: Olay Daily Facials
I know all the beauty bloggers and gurus all say “DONT USE MAKEUP WIPES!”, but technically these aren’t… and they’re incredible!! Personally I find one entire wipe to be too much so i just cut them in half. I only use these when I have makeup to take off and if I don’t I skip to the face wash. All you have to do is add a bit of water to the cloth, scrub it together to get it all sudsy, and then wash all your makeup off and then rinse! I absolutely love these cloths so much, they’re supper convenient and easy to use and work great at removing all your makeup!
Step 2: Olay Face Wash
If I don’t use the daily facial cloths before this I start by splashing some water over my face a good couple of times. I don’t really like to use too much of the face wash either, just about a pea size amount is good for me. I really love this face wash because its for sensitive skin and is not over drying at all. It gives you the prefect cleanse and makes your face feel super clean without that high over drying feeling or the feeling of having a thin film layer over your face which I find some cleansers can do. This one is just perfect for me!
Step 3: Benzaclin
Like I’ve said, for some reason I just started breaking out randomly for no reason so I went to my family doctor and he prescribed me with this lotion witch is a mix or benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin. Every morning and night after I wash my face I apply a thin layer of this over the affected area and it really works to reduce the break out or get rid of it right away! It also works to fight any future break out that might occur. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone that would be able to get it through they’re family physician. if your having breakouts don’t buy drugstore products to help you just go to the doctor and see what they can do.
Step 4: Bio Oil
Since I have olive skin, it tends to scare a lot more and I have an uneven skin tone, especially from all my vacations and tanning with sunglasses! I always get the worst nose tan ever hahah! This product is honestly amazing and has helped to fade away a lot of marks on my face left over from breakouts, even out my skin tone and make it look brighter! Its also a great moisturizer since the weather is getting cold. But don’t let the word ‘oil’ fool you, its not greasy at all and sinks right into the skin. Its also a great product to prevent aging and I also use it on my nail beds since they are always dry.
Step 5: Moisture
Last but not least, I then use the Olay Moisturizing Lotion for sensitive skin. This is my favorite moisturizer ever, its just so good and simple! I love that its nice and thin and not thick and heavy and greasy, but still fully moisturizes your face leaving your skin with a nice soft feeling and lets your skin breathe. Definitely will never stop using this!
Let me know you have any questions or want to share any of your favourite skincare routine products!
